Mike Bailey

Bruce and Peggy Bundy emailed me and informed me that Michael Bailey left us in 2019.  I don’t know if I have informed you before but would like to share his obituary if you’re interested.  As always our condolences go out to his family and relatives that continue their journey on this earth. Obituary

Wilson – Cremation arrangements are being handled at Alexander Gray Crematory for Mr. Michel “Mike” LeRoy Bailey, 69, of Wilson. He died on June 8, 2019 at Plano, TX.

Mr. Bailey was born on Dec. 23, 1949 at Death Valley, CA to Mr. Joseph Charles and Mrs. Syble (Lynn) Bailey. Primarily he was raised at Hurricane, Utah graduating from Dixie High School in 1967. Soon afterwards he enlisted into the US Army and served in Vietnam until his honorable discharge in 1973. After his military service he began driving a truck. This became his primary occupation and he mainly was employed for John Bunning Transportation. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and geology.

Preceding him in death is his Mother and his wife Linda.

Survivors include his children, Miranda Taylor of Fort Bridger, WY, Shane Bailey and wife Maggie of Raeford, NC, Shannara Bailey of Healdton; father, Joseph Charles Bailey of Las Vegas brothers, Steven, Charles and Billy Bailey and a sister Diane Franklin and husband Jim; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
