This is the obituary for Kay’s son:
Jay William Long, 37, of Ventura County, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014. He was born September 27, 1976, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Richard Lee Long and Kay Louise (Hackwell) Long.
Jay served proudly in the United States Marine Corps.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 10:00am until 12:00pm, at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, February 10, 2014, 10:00am, at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura, with military honors.
